ICC Cricket World Cup 2007
The ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 will be the largest event ever to hit the Caribbean, with thousands of fans expected to visit the 9 host nations. The events Opening Ceremony is to be held in Jamaica on March 11th 2007, the following 51 matches will be played through to the Grand Final to be held in Barbados on April 28th.
Tickets are on sale from May 1st 2006. If you are planning on attending the matches in Barbados then book your accommodation early to secure your place to stay. Check out the full Match Schedule.
The competition will be contested by 16 nations divided into 4 groups of 4 teams. The top two teams from each group will then compete in a "Super 8" format. Each team will carry forward its result against the qualifying team from its own preliminary stage group, and will play the other 6 qualifying teams once each. The top four teams in the league will qualify for the semi-finals.

Phase 1 - Monday 1st May 2006 to Monday 31st July 2006
Application period for Individual Match Tickets, Venue Combinations as well as Follow A Path Packages. Applications will be processed from both the Official Cricket World Cup Website and Official ICC CWC 2007 Inc. Ticket Centers located across all 9 Host Venue Countries. Applicants will be issued a confirmation of receipt when submitting their application.
Tuesday 1st August 2006 to Thursday 31st August 2006
Ticket sales are closed while ticket applications and payments are processed (including generation of the ballot where required). Confirmations will be forwarded to applicants no later than 31st August advising which tickets/matches they have been allocated.
Phase 2 - Friday 1st September 2006 to Thursday 30th November 2006
Remaining tickets will be sold from both cricketworldcup.com and Official ICC CWC 2007 Inc. Ticket Centers.
Friday 1st December 2006 to January 2007
Ticket sales are closed while specific seats locations are assigned to all ticket purchasers and tickets are printed and prepared for distribution.
Phase 3 - February 1st 2007 to Saturday 28th April 2007
Actual seat locations will be sold from both cricketworldcup.com and Official ICC CWC 2007 Inc. Ticket Centres and Venue Box Offices located across all 9 Host Venue Countries. In this phase, ticket sales will operate on a first-come first-served basis. Customers will be issued tickets at time of purchase.
